Terms of Service
This English translation is provided for convenience; if there is any discrepancy, the Korean original prevails.
These Terms set out the conditions for using the LinkScape service and the rights and obligations between LinkScape and its users. Matters concerning the processing of personal data are described separately in the Privacy Policy.
Effective August 18, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose and Definitions)
“Service” means all of the link, file and note collection and infinite-canvas organization services that LinkScape provides through its website (www.linkscape.kr), browser extension, installable apps and other means. “User” means a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account and uses the Service. “Content” means all materials a User stores in the Service, including links, files, notes, drawings and board layouts.
Article 2 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to Users. LinkScape may amend the Terms to the extent this does not violate applicable laws; when doing so, it will announce the effective date and the reasons for the change on the website from 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to Users). Continued use of the Service after the announcement is deemed acceptance of the amended Terms. Users who do not agree may delete their account and stop using the Service.
Article 3 (Accounts)
- You may sign up with an email address or a Google account; by signing up, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- Persons under 14 may not sign up. If we confirm that a person under 14 has signed up, the account will be deleted.
- You are responsible for managing your account and password, and may not transfer or lend your account to third parties. If you suspect unauthorized use, change your password and notify us at the email below.
- You may request account deletion at any time. Upon deletion, your boards and Content are erased irrecoverably (Privacy Policy, Section 2).
Article 4 (Provision, Change and Suspension of the Service)
LinkScape aims to provide the Service year-round, but may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for unavoidable reasons such as system maintenance, failures, circumstances of infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel, etc.) or force majeure. Additions, changes and discontinuations of features are announced in advance on the website; if the Service as a whole is terminated, we will give at least 30 days' notice and provide a way for Users to download their Content.
The Service is currently provided on a free plan with the following limits: 3 boards, 300MB total file storage (50MB per file), 15 days of trash retention. When a paid plan (Pro) is introduced, pricing, payment and refund terms will be posted separately, and boards and Content created before that time will be retained as they are.
Article 5 (User Obligations)
While using the Service, Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Storing or sharing content that infringes others' intellectual property rights, such as copyrights or trademarks, or their portrait rights or reputation
- Storing or sharing content prohibited by law, such as illegally filmed material or child or youth sexual exploitation material
- Distributing malware, gaining abnormal access to or placing abnormal load on the Service or its infrastructure, or exploiting vulnerabilities
- Using another person's account, commercially reselling the Service, or bulk collection by automated means
- Any other conduct contrary to applicable laws or public order and morals
If a violation is confirmed, LinkScape may, after prior notice (or subsequent notice in urgent cases), delete the content concerned, restrict use, or delete the account.
Article 6 (Rights in Content)
- Rights in the Content you store belong to you (or the original rights holder). LinkScape does not own your Content and does not expose it to other Users.
- You grant LinkScape the right to reproduce, convert and transmit your Content — for storage, backup, preview generation, search indexing, syncing across devices and the like — only to the extent necessary to provide the Service. This license is limited to the purpose of providing the Service and ends when you delete the Content.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the links and files you save to the Service do not infringe the rights of third parties.
- Rights in the Service itself (software, design, logo, copy) belong to LinkScape.
Article 7 (Limitation of Liability)
To the extent permitted by applicable laws, LinkScape is not liable for the following: ① the content, accuracy or legality of Content stored by Users; ② the content and availability of sites pointed to by external links saved by Users; ③ damages arising from causes attributable to the User (such as careless password management or loss of a device); ④ damages arising from the suspension, change or data loss of the Service, which is provided free of charge (except where caused by LinkScape's willful misconduct or gross negligence). Users are advised to keep separate backups of important materials (for example, by exporting a folder as a zip).
Article 8 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to use of the Service are first resolved through consultation via the email below; if consultation fails, they are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
