Privacy Policy

LinkScape does not request unique identifiers such as resident registration numbers or sensitive information for the purpose of operating the Service. Please include only the information you need in the files you upload.

• Account and board content: until you close your account or request deletion
• Cards in the trash and their attached files: 15 days after being moved to the trash
• Pro launch notification email: 1 year from sign-up or until withdrawn

Information whose purpose has been fulfilled is deleted irrecoverably. However, where applicable laws require separate retention, it is stored separately for that period and then destroyed.

As a rule, LinkScape does not sell personal data or provide it to third parties. We may provide it, within the limits permitted by law, only where you have given prior consent, where we are legally obligated, or where urgent protection of life or physical safety is required.

We use the infrastructure of the providers below to deliver the Service. Data is transmitted over encrypted networks as you use the Service, and each provider processes the data for the period set by its contract or the applicable service policy.

If you do not want overseas processing, you can sign in with email instead of Google and refrain from opening Microsoft Office online previews. If you refuse processing by the core service infrastructure, we may be unable to provide the Service.

LinkScape uses only the Supabase authentication cookie, for keeping you signed in and for security. This is a strictly necessary cookie required to provide account features, and it is deleted when you sign out.

We do not use visitor analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Vercel Web Analytics, nor advertising or tracking cookies. Accordingly, there is no separate cookie consent process; you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (if blocked, you will not stay signed in).

The LinkScape extension is a tool for saving links, images, selected text and parts of the screen from the web page you are viewing to your LinkScape boards. The information the extension processes is listed below and is sent only to the same Supabase infrastructure as the web service.

• Only the items you choose to save are processed — link URLs and page titles, images or files you drop or right-click, selected text, and capture images of screen areas you specify yourself. We do not read or store your browsing history or any other content of the page you are viewing.
• Login session — when you have a www.linkscape.kr page open, an extension script that runs only inside that page reads that site's login session so the extension can save to the same account. The extension does not use the browser cookies permission and does not read information from other sites. Settings such as the session and collapsed state are kept only in the browser's extension storage (chrome.storage).
• Access to all sites is used only to show the drag-and-drop zone on any page and to download, on your behalf, images the page cannot download directly because of the browser's security policy (CORS).
• To display favicons on link cards, only the link's domain name is sent to the Google favicon service.
• The extension contains no advertising or tracking scripts, and the information it collects is never sold to third parties or used for any purpose other than saving.

Removing the extension also deletes the data in its extension storage. Cards already saved to a board can be deleted directly in the web service.

You may request access to, correction or deletion of, suspension of processing of, or withdrawal of consent for your personal data. Account deletion and data deletion can also be requested at the email below; after verifying your identity, we handle the request according to the procedures set by applicable laws.

• Per-user row-level security (RLS) and private storage
• Short expiry on signed URLs for file access
• Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and security response headers
• Private pages blocked from search indexing, caching and analytics collection
• Prevention of account-existence disclosure and least-privilege access

LinkScape is not designed for children under 14. If we learn that information of a user under 14 has been collected without the consent of a legal guardian, we delete it without delay after the necessary verification.

We may revise this policy when laws or the Service change. Important changes are announced on the website before they take effect.
